Boston University School of Public Health to Feature Apryl Alexander During Its “Preventing Violence” Webinar

Apryl Alexander, Metrolina Distinguished Scholar in Health and Public Policy and Director of the Violence Prevention Center at the College of Health and Human Services, will be a featured speaker during Boston University School of Public Health’s “A Vote for Health: Preventing Violence” webinar Oct 23.

The online conversation will consider the intersection of the 2024 election and violence. Speakers will reflect on various causes and consequences of violence as well as actions that can be taken to prevent it.

The webinar is an installment of the “A Vote for Health” fall election series, for which Boston University School of Public Health convenes scholars to discuss health issues at stake in the 2024 US presidential election.
