CHHS Application Orientation

Nursing

The Nursing program admits for the upper division twice per year ( Fall and Spring ). The application period for a fall upper division start opens on November 15 of each year and closes on January 31. The application period for a spring upper division start opens on June 15 of each year and closes on August.

Exercise Science

The Exercise Science program admits for the upper division three times per year ( Fall, Spring, and Summer). The application typically opens midway through each semester and closes on Reading Day.

Public Health

The Public Health program admits for the upper division once per year (for a Fall start only). Typically, the application opens at the end of each fall semester and closes on January 31.

Social Work

The Social Work program has rolling admission and admits for the upper division once per year (for a Fall start only). The application opens each year on February 1 and closes on July 15.

How to Attend An Application orientation

All CHHS Pre-Majors must submit a formal application to their respective upper-division program by the department deadline. To learn more about the program application and admission process, please sign up for an upcoming orientation. Application Orientation are restricted to CHHS students only. If you are non-CHHS student and would like to switch your major to CHHS, please attend one of our Change of Major Orientations.


CHHS Upcoming Application Orientation Dates:

All Orientations will be conducted via Zoom. A confirmation email, including the zoom link, will be sent to your university email address 24-48 hours prior to the scheduled orientation. All orientations will be recorded (BSW sessions are managed via the School of Social Work). If you are unable to attend, please contact your assigned Academic Advisor.

Our Fall 2024 Application Orientation dates are forthcoming. We welcome you to check back in mid- September.
