Amanda joined the CHHS Advising Center in Spring 2022 as an Academic Advisor. She assists and prepares students who are seeking admission into the upper-division Nursing, Exercise Science, Public Health, and Social Work programs. Amanda teaches HAHS 1101 Prospect for Success each academic year.

Amanda‚Äôs higher education experience includes Admissions and Recruitment, Academic and Career Advising, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Retention Initiatives, and Student Development. Prior to joining UNC Charlotte, Amanda served as an Academic Advisor, and Acting Success Coach for the Adult Career Pathways Program (ACP) at Northern Virginia Community College. She is well-versed, working with diverse student populations, and is committed to assisting students with achieving their goals, and navigating the college experience.

In her spare time, Amanda lives for music, cooking, reading, shopping, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She looks forward to serving you during your academic journey at UNC Charlotte!
