Social Work Professor Wins Accessibility Excellence Award
School of Social Work professor Roger Suclupe has received the 2017 Accessibility Excellence Award for Outstanding Faculty/Staff, presented by the UNC Charlotte Office of Disability Services.
The award is presented in recognition staff or faculty with a strong commitment to accessibility and disability-related issues. Recipients were chosen through student submissions that detailed the nominee’s extraordinary commitment to accessibility.
“Professor Suclupe has an innovative and creative way of using current videos and clips to help us learn educational topics. He is always encouraging students during stressful times of the semester.” wrote the student who nominated him.
Suclupe is among 11 faculty or staff members presented with the Accessibility Excellence Award this year.
