Pam Davis
Pam Davis serves as Director of Communications for UNC Charlotte’s College of Health and Human Services.
Pam has extensive communications and public relations experience in the corporate, nonprofit, and government sectors. Prior to joining the University, she served in various communications roles for Sealed Air Corporation, a global packaging manufacturer and the inventor of Bubble Wrap.
She was the first-ever Director of Communications and Marketing for the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art. During her tenure, the Charlotte, NC museum was recognized as one of the preeminent cultural destinations in the Southeast. Other professional positions include Assistant Vice President of Communications for Foundation for the Carolinas, Public Information Specialist for the Charlotte Area Transit System, reporter for the Tampa Bay Times (formerly St. Petersburg Times), and Community Liaison for the Hillsborough Area Transit Authority where she led the public relations efforts to launch the TECO Line Streetcar System.
Pam’s civic leadership roles have included serving as Board President of Clayworks, a Charlotte-based ceramic arts nonprofit, and as Board Secretary of the Carolina Raptor Center, a nonprofit dedicated to the rehabilitation, research, and conservation of birds of prey.
Pam holds a bachelor’s degree in writing from the University of Tampa.
