Sheila Foreman

I joined UNC Charlotte and CHHS in July 2023.  My journey in higher education started with my graduate assistantship with TRIO, a federally funded program for first generation college students. After two years, I moved to North Carolina to be an Assistant Director for Tutoring and Supplemental Instruction and Wingate University. I remember not knowing what resources that were available on campus. For that reason, I am passionate in enriching student experiences!

Degrees

I graduated from Furman University with a BA in Music and Psychology. I continued my education at the University of South Carolina where I earned a Masters in Education Administration.

Advice to Students

Don’t let opportunities go to waste just because you feel that you are not ready or experienced enough. Lastly, have fun and enjoy your time here at UNC Charlotte!

About Me

I am a military brat so I have lived in Texas, Georgia, and South Carolina. An interesting fact about me is that I teach young kids how to play violin in the Charlotte community!
