Marta Falcon

Assistant Director
CHHS Advising Center

I joined CHHS in January 2025. My journey in higher education began at the University of Miami, working in the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, where I discovered a deep passion for supporting students’ academic and personal growth. This passion led to a diverse career path, with roles at Nova Southeastern University, South Mecklenburg High School, and Wingate University. Throughout my career, I have held various positions, from administration and academic advising to testing and disability support services. With each role, I have had the opportunity to share my personal experiences and knowledge, helping guide students through their educational journeys and fostering an inclusive environment for all.

Degrees

I graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science in General Studies (Sociology/Spanish focus). In 2010, I earned a Master’s degree in business leadership from Nova Southeastern University.

Advice to Students

Your path may not always be linear, keep pushing forward and remember that every experience is a chance to learn and grow. Be curious and don’t be afraid to ask questions, ask for help, and use your resources; they are there for you!
